Bioshocked

I loved the first Bioshock, played it over a dozen times over and still couldn’t get enough of it. Now there is Bioshock 2 and I must admit I like it even more then the first one. It’s…. in a word a lot more “comfortable” to play. The mechanics are nice and the battles are hard earned, specially when dealing with a Big Sister or protecting your little sister. Protecting takes on a whole new meaning though when you can set up multiple traps that go above and beyond just killing splicers (FUN).

My favorite times in the game though are when I have a little sister. They are more interactive then ever and fun to listen too. So far my favorite lines are…

“MMMM, Marshmallows”

”Daddy’s giving you Star’s and Birdie’s”

“Don’t make Daddy angry”

“Angel belly, my belly, who belly, your belly.”  -  Reminds me of the ice cream song!

Borderlands in my heart!

Talk about delivering the goods. Borderlands said they would give us down-loadable content and so they have.. unlike some games…but that’s a dead horse rant for another day. As for Borderlands, I fragging love it!

Even without the extra content I doubt I would bored with it. The characters are entertaining, the voice acting doesn’t make me want to punch my speakers and the leveling isn’t insanely long and intensive like some  games out there where you have to dedicate your entire being into it just to get to level 50.  Best part about it is the guns! I LOVE the guns, specially the shotgun class. Nothing says loving like a shotgun in your face.

To sum it all up the game is satisfying. The Co-Op is one of the best I’ve ever had the privilege of playing and I have played AL LOT of Co-Op games.

I LOVE CLAPTRAPS!!!

Sickness puts everything on hold

Last weekend I was graced with the pleasure of catching a fellow coworkers funk. It’s been so long since I have been sick that this cold is beating me up.

After much debating and my boss giving me no choice so I stalked off to see the Doctor, where I later learned that my cold went from typical cold to an all out sinus infection. So it’s medication and codeine cough syrup for me.

Carving Cramps

SO that saying “In way over your head” defiantly applies to the current situation I’ve gotten myself into. For Halloween this year I wanted to try something completely different when carving out a pumpkin. Traditional is great but can be so boring. Now I am stuck here, hand cramping up like a mother lover,  joints in my fingers are screaming for revenge and I am not even close to having this damned pumpkin carved. All because I decided to rock out my pumpkin by literally carving a dimensional looking zombie face in it…. My hand so hates my guts right now…

6 1/2 hours later:

Holly Crap it is done and Damn it looks awesome. Defiantly worth the hours of pain in the final hours, hopefully I will still think that way tomorrow when I wake up and cannot use my hand.
